Continuing to provide resources, funding and opportunities to the residents of Syracuse, Geddes and Van Buren is what motivates my legislative work and community service
The most enjoyable part of representing the people of the 129th District is meeting directly with them to discuss important issues and to gain their insight and perspectives.
In this position, I work collaboratively with elected officials of all political parties, along with professionals in business, labor, education, higher education, healthcare and the arts. Doing so delivers results for our area that include: legislation to facilitate improvements on Onondaga Lake; bills to help the City of Syracuse combat blighted properties and legislation to protect jobs in Central NY. Additionally, I secured additional funding in the NYS Budget for our public schools, not-for-profits and community organizations.
What my success indicates is an ability to work together with my colleagues in Albany and Central NY, to advocate for the people of New York State, and to represent the constituents of my home district with leadership, experience and results.
